UK emcee Cashtastic goes hard on his new single “Darkness”. The RGS Entertainment recording artist is joined by R&B artist A.R.I.. The single is described as a “mainstream-crossover record”, and even though it’s 100% British, it’s not got the staple British Hip-Hop sound of yester years ala Hijack, Blak Twang, Blade. It’s still lyrical, but ‘Darkness’ oozes in transatlantic appeal, if you liked The Game and Chris Brown’s “Pot Of Gold” record a while ago, you will love this. Both cats go in, we are always keen to feature new artists, definitely look out for more here.

This is the MK team on the behalf of RayRei. RayRei is an artist from the South Bay, Ca area. He is gearing up to release his Life In An Immature Fashion EP this summer. The first single is “One Hitter Quitter”, a prequel to Andy Mackk’s “Suicide Drills” music video.

Almost Always consists of artist/producer Curbside Jones ( @CurbsideJones music- http://www.cbtvondemand.bandcamp.com ) and producer Corey Arnell (@CoreyArnell). The duo formed in late 2011 after forming some light chemistry through out the year. Both artists are Austin, Tx residents and share a common goal, which is making music they can be proud of. The duo is currently working on an EP entiled “Failed Utopia”.

This video is a trailer for our forthcoming project “Failed Utopia” which is slated to be released July 2012. The video was shot, edited, and directed by Curbside Jones of Almost Always. The video stars Knatasha Chambers and was shot in Austin Texas. All background music was produced by Corey Arnell of Almost Always and will be featured on the EP. Failed Utopia is an EP about the obstacles we face in day to day life from the eyes of someone who is used to being at the bottom. The subject matter of the EP covers failed relationships, failure to reach perfection, losing one’s self in an addiction, racial inequality, religious perspectives, and many other situations that plague our failed utopia. <-see what I did there? lol
