1 New Star Wars Movie A Year, EVERY Year

When Disney bought Lucasfilm, we initially heard they wanted to produce a new Star Wars movie every 2 to 3 years. This sounded pretty ambitious, but now they’ve upped the schedule to one new Star Wars film once a year, every year staring in 2015. The plan is to cycle between Episodes VII, VIII, and IX and standalone spinoff films for each one.

Is this too much? Is this a sign that Disney will most assuredly mess up the Star Wars franchise like we’d feared they would? Or will it be [debateably] okay like the Marvel movie release schedule? Or…do you think it was doomed from the start?

Let us know what you think. As for me…I’ve got a baaaad feeling about this. (-Kim)
